Mailmatch Coordinator
Your role is to manage FCA's Mailmatch programme. Within the Archery Canada system, direct responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities related the Mailmatch programme. Contributing towards the development and delivery of the programme in coordination with provincial volunteers who hold similar responsibilities. Overall operation of Mailmatch programme, including: Leadership - Recruit site co-ordinators in each province - Recruit & select national resource people - Orient & train volunteers for their roles, as necessary - Liaise with other ACC members, FCA Board of Directors, & PSOs - Communicate with participating clubs, archers & FCA's general membership Planning - Identify and revise, as needed for the national component, Third Millennium - Provide input to Management component, Third Millennium Development Projects - Keep updated version of FCA Task List (sample on last page) Implementation - Advertise event to FCA sanctioned clubs starting 3 months in advance - Circulate a standard package and confirm host site contact information - Address issues within the event - Promote the event and its benefits - Contribute regularly in the FCA's official electronic publications - Provide written analysis of participation - Publish unofficial list of medallists 10 days after the end of March - Publish final list of participants and medallists 30 days after March 31st - Work with webmaster to ensure web site information for portfolio is correct - Work with membership chairperson to verify membership in good standing of all participants Evaluation - Evaluate participation and feedback and submit recommendations to the Vice-President ACC Events and Services Reporting - To V/P Archery Canada Events and Services regularly (i.e. quarterly) - To Board, 1x per year (written) - To Membership at AGM (written) Resource Materials: - FCA Rules book, Volunteer Handbook, Volunteer Directory, Policy Manual, meeting minutes posted on the FCA web site |
