FCA Records Coordinator
Maintain FCA's Score Records database, in accordance with the policies made by the Board of Directors. Within the Archery Canada system, direct responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities related to the FCA Records programme.Overall operation of records programme, including: Leadership - Demonstrate computer skills utilising word processing and data entry software - Demonstrate familiarity with Canadian archery competition formats - Liaise with other ACC members, FCA Board of Directors, & PSOs - Communicate with FCA's membership in general Planning - Provide input to Management and V/P ACC Events and Services Development Projects - Keep updated version of FCA Task List (sample on last page) Implementation - Maintain FCA records database, current and inactive, making changes as needed; when a new record has been achieved, or record categories have changed due to decisions made by the FCA Board, - Verify and record new records, as requested by the member, and keep a copy of the up-to-date FCA Sanctioned Tournament Calendar - Automatically review and record new records from FCA indoor and outdoor Championships - Issue "new record" letters, using a high-quality printer, to competitors in a timely manner, - Provide the FCA office with copy of each "new record" letter - Maintain on file the competitor's request and a valid copy of the scorecard, - Answer all inquires from the membership in a timely manner, - Provide the FCA office with a current FCA records list on a quarterly basis, and one month prior to each FCA Championships, - Monitor programme participants with regard to the Records Programme - Supervise programme activities as required - Address issues within the programme - Contribute regularly in the FCA's official electronic publications - Work with webmaster to ensure web site information for portfolio is correct - Participate electronically as a member of the Archery Canada Council Evaluation - Evaluate requests, participation and feedback and submit recommendations to the Vice-President ACC Events and Services Reporting - To V/P Archery Canada Events and Services regularly (i.e. quarterly) - To Board, 1x per year (written) - To Membership at AGM (written) Resource Materials: - FCA Rules book, Volunteer Handbook, Volunteer Directory, Policy Manual, meeting minutes posted on the FCA web site |
