FITA Star Award Coordinator

FITA Star Award Program Coordinator
Your role is to manage FCA's FITA Star Award program within the Archery Canada system; and direct responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities related to the FITA Star program.

Overall operation of FITA Star Awards program, including:

Leadership
- Maintaining an open dialogue with the FITA Office in Switzerland for ordering stock and keeping up on the latest announcements;
- Maintaining the database of previously awarded FITA Stars;
- Maintaining a stock of FITA Star awards for presentation;
- Receive requests for FITA Star awards, verify their eligibility and send out the awards with award letters on FCA letterhead;
- When ‘High Value’ FITA awards are requested, verify their eligibility and order the award(s) from FITA;
- Work with FCA’s VP International to ensure the program is running smoothly;
- Work with the FCA webmaster to ensure the FITA Star Award Page is up-to-date and relevant. - Provide the FCA webmaster with updates to the Award Database on a regular basis;
- Keep the FCA Office copied on all correspondence;
- Ensure awards are received in a timely manner, when delays occur, maintain contact with those requesting, copying the FCA Office and the VP International;
- Report on the program yearly for inclusion in the FCA Annual Report, which is reported at the FCA AGM; and 
- Communicate with participating clubs, archers & FCA's general membership to improve the program as required.

Planning

- Identify and revise, as needed, and provide feedback on this program as it fits within FCA’s planning process;

- Provide input to the VP International on the program and make suggestions for improvements.

Development Projects
- Update latest version of FCA Task List as it applies to this portfolio.

Implementation
- Advertise the availability of these awards at least yearly on the FCA website;
- Manage the program ensuring awards are sent out in a timely manner;
- Address issues within the event
- Promote the event and its benefits
- Contribute regularly in the FCA's official electronic publications
- Provide written analysis of participation
- Work with membership chairperson to verify membership in good standing of all participants
- Evaluate participation and feedback and submit recommendations to the Vice-President International

Reporting
- To VP International regularly (i.e. quarterly)
- To Board, 1x per year (written) - To Membership at AGM (written)
